Grade 6.. Ms. B

Welcome to the sixth grade!

I LOVE TEACHING, LEARNING, AND GETTING MY HANDS DIRTY!

Since 1999, I have been able to hone my teaching craft within the walls of CTES. I was hired as a third grade teacher and moved into the sixth grade position in the fall of 2002. Since then I have had the good fortune of educating many young men and women. I previously taught in Tunbridge, and South Royalton. My teaching degree is from St. Joseph’s in Rutland, and I have an Environmental (Natural Resources) degree from Ramapo College in NJ. Prior to becoming a teacher; I was a naturalist (For the Morris County Park Commission), a culinary artist (cook), a waitress, and I worked in a placement for abused and delinquent kids (10-20) called Vision Quest. I have two kids of my own, Dakota and Sahara (who are both in their 20s). Sahara is at Ithaca College. Dakota graduated from Castleton in 2017. I am originally from NJ, but have lived in Vermont for almost 25 years.
