Sign-ups for the 2027 Snow Sports season are at Cavendish Town Elementary School on the following dates:

The Cavendish Town Elementary School Snow Sports Program is a ski and snowboard program held at Okemo Mountain on Tuesdays from 12:00 – 3:30 during the months of January through February. The program is run entirely by community volunteers. Please consider being an on-mountain ski or snowboard volunteer. Also, if you know of someone who might be able to volunteer, please give them my contact information.

There is no cost for the program this year. Students that don’t have their own equipment can rent from the mountain. Fees for the program are covered by a generous donation from Fairway Fundraising.

A parent or legal guardian must be present to sign up a student for the program.

Late signups will not be allowed. Students must be signed up during one of the sessions listed above.

Students in grades K and 1 must have an adult with them while at the mountain. The adult does not need to be a skier or snowboarder. The adult also does not need to be a parent. So, if your Kinder or 1st Grader wants to learn to ski, designate an adult who will be on the mountain or in the lodge every Tuesday. Snowboarding is available only for students in grades 3-6.

Individuals who would like to be an on-mountain or base lodge volunteer are required to sign up at the same time. All volunteers are required to pass a background check in order to be a Snow Sports volunteer.
